Pioneers of Dauphin
HUNT, Herbert Everett 1883-1965. Born in Miami, Manitoba, and
as a young man lived in Dauphin, where his father, Robert, was an
agricultural machinery salesman. In 1911 he married Margaret C. Browne,
1882-1987?, who was born
in Cork, Ireland. They had one daughter, Jeanne (Sill). The family
moved to Alberta in 1922 and lived in Stettler, Calgary, the Crowsnest
Pass, and Lethbridge before settling in Fort Macleod in 1932. H.E.
worked as an accountant and was in the Macleod Health Society, Macleod
Credit Union, and Masonic Lodge. They moved to Calgary in 1953 where
H.E. worked as a timekeeper for the Department of Public Works.
Robson, My Great Grandparents & Grandparents were all Homesteaders
in Dauphin, MB in the late 1800's and early 1900's. GGF was Thomas Cuthbert
Robson DOB: 28 Feb 1842 Northumberland Co or County Durham U.K.,
DOD: 25 Nov 1931, Dauphin, MB. GGM was Margaret Bowmaker DOB: 05 Apr 1846

James Bowmaker & Ester ???
GF was William Edward Robson DOB: 13 Mar 1872 Northumberland CO or
County Durham U.K. DOD: 07 Sep 1945 Dauphin, MB. GM was Dorothy Alvira
Archer DOB: 11 Aug 1877, Mindon, ON. DOD: 03 Jul 1964, Dauphin, MB. Daughter
of William George Archer Sr. & Alvira Stephens.
