My maternal grandfather William Elmer Rivers COLE was born in Rivers, Manitoba on 10 September 1908.  He passed away in Rimby, Alberta on 30 Mar 1998.  Verbal information given to me was that my grandfather was reported to be the first baby boy to be born in Rivers, Manitoba and some years back there was a Homecoming in Rivers and he was invited back.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to confirm this information.
My great grandparents names were William and Mary Elizaberth COLE.  I know that they lived in Rapid City in 1904 and sometime between that and 1908 moved to Rivers.  I also have relatives with the last name of CLUFF that would have lived in and around the Rivers area
